It's really beginning to seem insane that that kind of stuff used to be normal. And I'm an ex-smoker myself. Did you see "Good Night and Good Luck"? That was a great movie, with lots of creepy smoking in the 50s in every scene.
I wasn't surprised when I went home afterwards and discovered that the real Edward R. Murrow died from lung cancer a few years after the events in the movie.
Yeah, I used to smoke to, and I'm glad I quit. I did see that movie, and while watching it I even started to feel like I was breathing in second hand smoke!
