Heart's Desire.

It was ten years ago that I made my first, and to date, most notable short story sale. Pirate Writings bought "Heart's Desire" for the princely sum of $26 and published it in December of 1997. I even got illustrations!

Years later I discovered that the story had been reprinted in The 2nd Coming: The Best of Pirate Writings, Vol. 2, when I Googled myself. When I emailed the company they said that they had tried to contact me, but I had moved with no forwarding address.



It's not a huge achievement, but it's mine and I'm proud of it. :-)
