Science Fiction.

Although it's far less common than horror and epic fantasy, science fictional themes also appear in heavy metal album art. Derek Riggs did this most effectively for Iron Maiden and their Somewhere In Time album, drawing heavily upon Blade Runner and The Terminator for inspiration.
